Parallels can be found when comparing Descender (2023) to Ultraviolet, however the latter veers away from sharper rhythms and synth-driven melodies, allowing ambient textures to shine. Rhythmic elements still play their part in Ultraviolet, but they tend toward a more syncopated nature — caressing rather than overshadowing — offering moments of metric ambiguity.
